What's this "JAVille?"

JAVille (or "JAville") is Jenn and Adam's term for their life together, their world, what have you. http://javille.redirectme.net is Jenn and Adam and Kaitlynn's web site to give their adoring public a look in on their world.

What's on this site?

On this site is information about Jenn, Adam, their life together, wedding, honeymoon, Kaitlynn, and maybe even thoughts about day to day life. The site also has a few "easter eggs" for those who are observant. The most obvious of these being that the sky color in the header changes color depending on when one arrives at the web site. There's even a sort of sunrise for those who arrive in the wee hours of a Cental Time morning. Persistant visitors will notice that the header graphic shows Jenn's stomach growing as her pregnancy gets further along. (Yeah, we'll be changing the logo soon.)

What's the use of logging in? WHO can log in?

Sadly, for reasons beyond comprehension, there are creeps using the internet. Explaining a preference for or against Thai food is no longer safe, let alone giving specifics of one's personal life, travel plans, marriage... really anything. So as a casual browser of the JAVille web site, one might notice that very few details are given to those who do not first give information about themselves.

Logging into one's account on JAVille opens doors that are otherwise closed. Users who are logged in to the web site are given the specifics that Jenn and Adam have seen fit to tell friends and family. Most users that log in have the ability to change information about themselves, including ways that Jenn and Adam might contact them. Some (but not all) of these users have the ability to RSVP for the wedding, and obtain information about the time and location of the very same.

As of March, 2008, only those who have received a written wedding invitation by USPS from Jenn and Adam may log in to this web site.

Why can't *I* log in? How do I get an account? What's the capital of Mongolia?

You probably don't have an account, or haven't found our log in page. If you have an account in JAVille, but have forgotten your username or password, contact Jenn and Adam. If you do have an account, have found our log in page, are sure that you are entering accurate information, and have pressed the "Log In" button, all to no avail; it is possible that our database is down, though our team of monkeys is working hard to be sure that if the database is down you at least have a clear message to that effect.

If you don't have an account, but would like one, please contact the JAVille department of e-homeland security (Jenn and Adam) for an account.

The capital of Mongolia is Ulaanbaatar.

Were animals harmed in the conception, creation, or upkeep of JAVille's lovely web site?

Seriously? You think it's lovely? Thank you! Oh, but to answer your question: yes, but Adam would prefer both you not mentioning it, and not being referred to as an animal. But if you must, refer to him as a dimetradon.
